Born on October 31st, 1989 in Brăila, the city of writer Panait Istrati, singer Nicu Alifantis, soprano Hariclea Darclee and famous biologist and physician Ana Aslan, Georgiana started writing when she was thirteen at her father’s stimulus due to her vivid imagination.
She has a Bachelor’s Degree in the English Language and Literature – French Language and Literature – Philology at the “Spiru Haret” University of Bucharest (Romania) and a Master’s Degree in Translation and Interpretation at the “Dunărea de Jos” University of Galați (Romania).
She participated in many national and international literary contests, the most recent being the “Adrian Păunescu” National Poetry Competition, 2019 and „Sharon’s November Art/ Photography Poetry Prompt Challenge” organizat de IALR, 2019.
Georgiana published in national and international magazines and anthologies like the “Romanian Cultural Meridian” Magazine, Vaslui, the “AURIS T” Magazine, Tecuci, the OPA international literary magazine, the “Person(s) of Interest Best of Writers Assembled 2018” Anthology, On the Brink Publishing Publishing House (2018), the Odyssey International Anthology World Literature, Liric Graph Publishing House (2019), the “Romanian Writers at the Beginning of the Third Millennium”, STARPRESS, CANADA, “Olimpias” Publishing House, 2019, “The Romanian Language. Although she writes mostly in English, Georgiana never forgets about her mother tongue, the Romanian language.
With the muse, her family and friends by her side, she wishes to introduce the readers into magical worlds through her prose and make the readers never forget about their feelings and emotions, neither forget about faith, nature and the positive aspects of life through her poetry.
